Sales Co-ordinator
Miles-Platts Limited specialise in the design and manufacturer of precision technical mouldings for the electrical, automotive and medical industries. The company has been established for over 35 years and employs 70 people manufacturing products for the UK and export markets. The company enjoys a market leading position and is actively looking to increase sales.
The Position
The Sales Co-ordinator is responsible for working with customers and distributors, handling their orders and the liaison with the production, technical and stores/ despatch departments. The position involves direct contact with our French customers and fluent French is essential.
Key Duties
Providing first-line contact to customers with particular emphasis on export sales.
Contract review of customer orders and entry into Miles Platts’ computerised system.
Liaison with production planning/ operations to meet the customer’s requirements.
Providing customers with order confirmations and feedback as required.
Calculating prices for components in line with company guidelines.
Providing customers with quotations for components.
Assisting in resolving credit/ quality queries as necessary.

Skills/ Qualifications Required
Clear communication skills- written & spoken English to a high standard
Fluent French essential
Numerate with an attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner.
Computer literate- Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel.

This is a full time permanent position and normal working hours are 39.5 hours per week- some flexibility can be given on start/ finish times and number of hours.
Salary in the region of £14-19,000 per annum depending upon experience
