Miles Platts works directly with leading polymer manufacturers and industry experts in order to provide our customers with unrivalled support to ensure the selected materials are appropriate for the specific application.

We specialise in moulding high-performance engineering polymers with specific expertise in PA6, PA66, PA46, PPA, PET, LCP, PPS, PBT and PEEK materials. The majority of the materials we use at Miles Platts are glass filled with flame retardant systems to meet UL94 flammability requirements or UL1446 electrical insulation systems.

In addition to the more standard engineering polymers, we also have experience in metal detectable PBT, thermally conductive PPS and PA46 for LDS (laser Direct Structuring).
